Safety Concerns Marred My Stay

Unfortunately, my experience was overshadowed by safety issues. The lack of secure door locks was alarming, especially when an intruder entered screaming. I felt unsafe and was denied a room change for security. I recommend ensuring your door locks work before staying.

Request a room on higher floors for better city views and less noise from the street below.

this place was a total disappointment, the room was filthy, and the moldy smell? just divine—as if that was a selling point. they boast about soundproofing yet i heard every single car honking, wow! after the uncomfortable stay, I expected a complimentary upgrade, but seems special treatment was reserved for others. I almost left a good review, but just couldn’t!

My first room stunk heavily and hosted an unwelcome cockroach. The alternative rooms weren't much of a step up. one had a similar odor, and the other also had a cockroach problem. I was struck by the lack of cleanliness in the 4-bed mixed dorm, finding rubbish under the bed while experiencing uncomfortable mattresses that offered no support. Additionally, the non-locking door left my belongings accessible to anyone, which did little for my peace of mind.

The location is great, just ten minutes from the riverfront park. The beds are comfy and I loved the free washing machine and water refill station. Plenty of toiletries were provided, and the WiFi worked perfectly. Plus, the cafe across the street had amazing coffee! ☕️

I had a great time at this budget hotel! The breakfast was simple but delicious, and I loved the cozy outdoor terrace. However, our room didn’t have a window, which was unexpected.
